Reservation becomes definitive and valid as soon as the owner has received one signed copy of the renting contract and the down deposit (non refundable advanced rental deposit, usually 25% of total amount of rent).

On arrival, the tenant is asked to pay the full amount of rent due and to leave a security deposit of one week rent with the owner, which comes in addition (it is usually agreed that the security deposit consists in a cheque that is normally not cashed by the owner's at his bank). This security deposit will be refunded to the tenant 15 days max after his leaving, minus expenses to the tenant's charge for any damages made to the premises or its equipment.

The tenant is asked to insure the premises with the equipment which are rented to him. He is therefore to check that he currently has a contract in force covering vacation rentals (often included within standard home insurance cover) or is to arrange an extension of his contract with his insurance company. A certificate of insurance covering vacation rentals will be asked on arrival.

The holiday house is normally rented from Saturday at 16:00 to the following Saturday at 10:00. Nevertheless, with the agreement of the owner, different arrangement can be made.

Unless otherwise stated by the owner (special offers...), the price normally includes water, electricity and gas charges.
